Located about a 15-minute walk from the center of Banff, this golf hotel is ideal for parents with children. The region is known for a popular alpine ski area (about 20 minutes by car to the slopes). The network of cross-country trails begins about 10 minutes' walk away.

The hotel was built in 1883. Guests have a choice of 770 rooms, including 20 junior suites, 41 suites, 457 single rooms and 240 double rooms, located in a 9-story main building and a 4-story auxiliary building. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the 24-hour reception desk. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service.
