Awful staff and physically threatened

We normally stay at the local travelodge when in the area, however it was busy for whatever reason and based on reviews (which at the time weren't bad - some how) we booked to stay here for a night...

Don't stay if if need to sleep

Stayed here twice before knew it as a pub hotel and would be basic but clean. We were shown to our room past a quilt on the landing with a suspicious yellow mark it was still there the next morning...
